It mixes anecdotal evidence (the author tried it) with science (this is what the science papers say) and also brings in other ideas (e.g the ideas of Steven Pressfield on ‘Resistance’ from the War of Art). But you also need to consider your starting bodyfat % and consistency on the diet.
I would say that most of you looking to get sub 10% (men) and 18% (women) bodyfat will need to spend roughly 8-12 weeks dieting.
You don't technically need any supplements to lose fat.
