It mixes anecdotal evidence (the author tried it) with science (this is what the science papers say) and also brings in other ideas (e.g the ideas of Steven Pressfield on ‘Resistance’ from the War of Art). It has been thought out from a very big picture perspective (let’s think of as many different elements as we can that together will improve the process).
